Youth Sports & Fitness
The Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS) Sports and Fitness program offers a variety of sports and instructional classes for children ages 3 to 18 years encouraging sportsmanship, physical conditioning, good nutrition, and healthy, life long habits.

Programs
The CYSS sports and fitness program provides a wide range of opportunitites for participation in team and individual sports and outdoor activities. The program emphasizes fun, fundamentals, skill building, participation and physical conditioning rather than winning or losing. Sports clinics such as windsurfing, basketball, cheerleading, soccer, baseball, golf and tennis also enhance the opportunities available for our youth. Throughout the year in conjunction with other CYSS programs, nutrition classes, guest speakers, parent information sessions are offered making the Fort Monroe program a comprehensive program that concentrates on the development of the whole child.
